that’s was great service as for MOT, after 5 hours you could be take back your car if you drop dowm early around 9am.. after service staff would sell you upgrade service £170 ….but didn’t specify what kinds included as well. But so far was good and reliable.

After springing a coolant leak on my Range Rover L322, I decided to take it to a Land Rover Specialist and wasn’t overly impressed with the service.

Instead, I took it down to Mercia Motors whose staff couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried – from reception to mechanic, these people are genuinely friendly and helpful.

I was also impressed that I was called before any work took place to discuss my options and given a firm price before giving the go-ahead. It’s nice to not deal with a garage that throws on hidden charges or fees at the pay point.

Mercia worked on my car diligently and the end price was even £43 lower than I expected.

I have used Mercia for previous MOT/services and their approach is consistent and well organised.

They even have a black Lab working behind reception some days and after sadly losing our Labrador earlier this year, that gives Mercia motors an extra tick in my book.

I won’t go anywhere else now. Highly recommended.

Took my car in for a MOT and service, honestly couldn’t of had a better experience. When dropping my car off the staff were super helpful and friendly. Later that day they gave me a call to explain the MOT results, they were very clear and informative about what needed to be done and how much it all would cost. Considering the amount of work that needed to be done, the price was really good. They were even able to answer my hundreds of questions about what it all meant, which I found very useful. Was able to pick my car up the same day so a rapid turnaround. Couldn’t recommend Mercia enough, 10/10 experience 🙂

My trusty 16 year old VW Polo run-around needed its annual service recently and I decided to try Mercia Motors Ltd at Meadow Head for the first time. The service checks found that the Polo needed some extra work on the braking system. Ryan kept me informed of what was needed, why, and what the additional costs were. Although the brakes were not dangerous before the work was done I could tell, as soon as I left the garage, that the brakes were more responsive. Absolutely impeccable service. My clutch decided to completely fail just as I was about to head down the motorway to visit family with a car packed full of stuff, plus my partner and dog. Limped into Mercia where despite being very busy they ordered the part and slotted us in to have the car ready the following day. We live 2 miles away and they even offered us, the dog and all our stuff a lift back to our house! These guys really were so helpful at an awkward moment for us.

The car was ready the next day and Mercia even dropped it off on my driveway and popped the keys through the door as we’d made other travel arrangements and were away on that day.

When work needs to be done they phone and detail the work required and the expected cost. One vehicle I have had for ten years is difficult to find parts for being a Japanese import.No problem.
